In a collaboration between the Illustration, Industrial Design, Architectural Science faculties at Sheridan college, the Sustainability Office at the college, and PLANT Architect Inc, we created a mural for the Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies, Centre for Healthy Communities at Sheridan’s Davis Campus.
It was designed to fulfill the desire to have a mural depicting the concept of community, diversity and working together filling the two-storey space facing the campus, while aiding in a heat gain and glare issue in the study and lounge space.
The project consists of a two-layer installation of white vinyl that helps with heat control and printed perforated window blinds that helps with glare.
